Clarifying options on multiple choice questions

I am creating an informational form, and it requires a number of multiple choice questions. But many of the individual choices within the multiple choice list could benefit from additional explanations.  For example, the question might be:

What color palettes do you like the most?

  1. Pastels
  2. Jewel tones
  3. Monochromatic
  4. Black and white

I would like to be able to include a definition for each of the answers, so the test taker knows what I mean by each turn, but when I add the definition into the actual answer, the form becomes really unwieldy and difficult to reach.

Is there any way to add these definitions--maybe if they hover over the item some text is shown, or subheadings in a smaller text under each item that defines them, or some other option that I can’t imagine?

Hi @magerber welcome to the community, and great question 😊

At the moment, it’s not possible to add additional information to a multiple choice option, but I love your suggestions for hover over text and subheadings. We have a feature request for this, so I am going to upvote it and share your feedback with our product team for consideration. We’ll let you know if we have any updates 🙏
