How can I count how many selections a respondent has made in a multiple choice? | Community

Hi

I’d like to use logic jumps to ask different questions depending on how many options someone selected in a multiple choice question. What is the best way to count how many answers somebody has selected?

Hi @PeteTai Welcome to the community! Our article here can walk you through how to set logic jumps to show questions based on previous answers. :grinning:

Hello, I am trying to do something similar on my Typeform, however, the linked article was not helpful. The logic I need to set up is based on how many options are selected from the respondent.

For the multiple selection question, respondents can choose as many options as they’d like. Based on the number of selections made, a number is added to their score.

Ex: if 2 answers are selected then add X amount to Score. If 3 answers are selected, add X amount to score, and so on.

I thought this was an option for typeform logic but I’m not seeing it when I go to set it up. Is this logic I could set up?

Hi @aelens Thanks for stopping by! I commented on your other post to see if we can get you some help with this question!
