How many questions is too many?

So i’m starting to set up my first few surveys in Typeform and, luckily, stakeholders have sent through a lot of questions to ask our users.
I was wondering though, has anyone recorded the completion rate of their surveys over time and split it by question count or even survey duration?

I was hoping to get a sense of the maximum recommended question count or ideally a completion rate curve by question count/survey duration. I’ll be collecting this data myself over time and i’m happy to share once I can.

Hi @Sir_Vey Happy Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by. This is a great question. We usually suggest to have as few questions as possible to prevent respondents from dropping off, but it may also depend what your form is.

What’s your typeform about?
