How to create a variable in the class builder?

It sounds simple, but I do not find where to add a variable in my form

I have the class builder and all tutorial show how to do it usingthe new builder

          @JorgeAZ - so glad you got this solved after a month of trying to figure it out on your own!. I was in that same position a year ago, before this Community came online. Take advantage of the Community as soon as you run into an issue OR have something cool to share with others - don’t wait a month to seek an answer… 

          between the official Typeformers and those of us who spend (too much) time in here, we try to find you solutions to problems.
