How to discount price after coupon code entered (subtract feature not work)?

My goal is to discount the standard @price by $1000 if they enter the correct coupon code, in this case “LUCKY7”…

But it is not possible to subtract any amount from the price - the ‘from’ field is greyed out and not possible to use. How do I achieve this, or work around the bug (if it is a bug)?
