How to Link Typeform Question to Google Sheet Data ?

Hi everyone,

We are currently using Typeform for a simple questionnaire.

Our main challenge is the following:
👉 We would like to ask a question such as “Who is the client?”,
and have the answer options automatically populated from a Google Sheet (our client database).

Context:

  • We have 300+ clients

  • The client list changes regularly (new clients added)

  • Google Sheets is our source of truth

  • We want to avoid manual copy-paste or constantly updating a dropdown

Does Typeform offer a native way to populate a question (dropdown / multiple choice) from a Google Sheet?
Or is there a recommended best practice for this kind of use case?

    It’s not currently possible to pull data from a Google Sheet into a form question, although this is a really good feature request, I’ll pass it onto our Product team. 

    ​@john.desborough I don’t suppose you’ve ever seen anything similar to this in your travels?

          Absolutely ​@Questionaire oberA will keep everyone posted if this makes it to the roadmap.

          My assumption is that it would be possible to use Zapier or Make if you’re following a similar setup to the one Mathio suggested. I’m hoping there’s a kind developer out here that has some ideas to share for this! 🙏
