I am trying to check if Typeform can be used to collect ideas from users, that then get publicly displayed, voted, and commented by other users.
Something like Canny - but not for product features.

You would probably need to use the Typeform API to rerieve the responses and then build (or use a no code solution) to display the data on a simple web interface.
A more crude approach would be to and have your Typeform responses get automatically stored onto a GoogleSheet.
After that simply make the GoogleSheet publicly accessible.
