Hi @hoiwon Happy Monday! It isn’t possible to limit the number of options in a ranking question. Do you mind sharing your use case? I would assume that only the options a respondent could choose from would be listed in the ranking options, but curious to hear why you’d like to limit them!

I don’t know exactly what @hoiwon’s use case is but I stumbled across this googling a similar question I think. I want to create a ranking question “What do you find most useful about x?” and then give them 8 possible answers from which I want them to only choose their top 3… Can you help me with that please?

@Helen Flow - if you used the multiple choice and specify the number of choices they could make, you would end with that sort of scenario

it’s not the ‘ranking’ question style within Typeform but would give you what you want… maybe lol
