Hello everyone,
I have an issue that I need help with. It could affect my conversion rate

I have a form with several questions, the last one being a long text question.
The long text is optional. There is no Submit (in german “senden”) button visible unless you press enter, start scrolling or type an answer. I thought this was just the way typeform works and there is no way around this.
Here is the link. The long text questions appears everytime.

(Screenshot 1: “Senden” (Submit) Button doesn’t show unless user scrolls, types, presses enter.)

However, I noticed on another form that I have, where the last question is also a optional long text question that the “Submit” Button always shows immediately, even when there is no text entered. This makes it a lot easier to skip the question if you do not want to use the optional long text field.
Here is the link. The long text answer appears, when you click A on all previous questions.

(Screenshot 2: “Senden” (SUbmit) Button shows straight after the jump to the question)

I can’t figure out what the difference is and why the button doesn’t show immediately on one form and in the other one it is visible straight away.

I would like the Submit-button to show on both long text questions.

Hi @daniel Do you have logic jumps on the question in your first scenario? If so, this would prevent the submit button from appearing until they have begun to provide an answer to the question.

Hey @Liz,

Thanks your your reply.
I need the logic jumps, so I guess there is no way around this issue, correct?

HI @daniel No, I’m afraid not, but I can share this feedback with the product team.
