Logic built out from Ranked Choice Response

Maybe you can help figure out the best way to tackle this. 

The question was, “How do you like to receive information from the museum?”. If they ranked Social Media in the top three, we want to know more about which types/platforms. But if not, we don’t want to bother someone that doesn’t use social with an irrelevant question. 

Is there a way to do this through some other means?

Yes, it is possible, but it depends on the survey platform you’re using. Most standard survey tools do not currently support logic based on the ranking position of an answer (e.g., "show question if Option A is ranked in top 3").
