Logic Error

Hi, I have the following problem:I would like to set up my form in such a way that the leads have to give specific answers to 2 different multiple choice questions in order to get to ending 1.So really BOTH questions have to be answered in a certain way. Just one is not enough.I set it like this:

The problem is that currently only one correct answer is enough to get to Ending A. The second question is ignored by Typeforms and the lead comes up with Ending A although the criteria of the second question are not correct. Can someone tell me how to set this up correctly? Thanks in advance!

Hi @SaschaAlexander5i0335 Thanks for stopping by the community! Do you mind sharing a screenshot of the answer options expanded so we can see the entire setup? Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much, @SaschaAlexander5i0335 ! This helps a lot. The way that our logic (and outcome quiz) works is that, if a condition is matched on the first option (in this one, option A), it will send the respondent there first.

So, if you want to be sure that it doesn’t always go to one ending, you’ll want to be sure that there aren’t any big overlaps in the answer options you place into the outcome quiz settings.

@john.desborough correct me if I’m wrong! He may also have a workaround related to calculations and scoring, too.

@Liz @SaschaAlexander5i0335  - this is the reason why i never the outcome quiz framework: it does not give me enough granular control and in the event of a tie, it simply goes to the ending closest to the top of the list ie A and C are tied, it goes to A .. B and C are tied it goes to B..

much better off to create a variable for each subtotal that you will evaluate and put ‘points’ into the subtotal variable for each option .. map each outcome/ending to a subtotal variable.. use the logic rules to do this.
