Long answer questions - Lag in typing?

Hi @soopi25 Thanks for stopping by the community! Would you mind sharing the URL of the form (and if it’s embedded, that URL) so we can test this? Additionally, is there any particular device or browser this is occurring on? Thanks in advance!

I am having the same issue. Several clients (and myself when testing) have this issue. There is a 3 second lag from the time you start typing to when it actually appears on screen. I tried different browsers - same issue.

@Mon8 I’ve reached out directly to Typeform and their developers are looking into it. I’ll post any advice or solutions they give me.

Is anyone else still having this issue? Both short form and long form text boxes on one of my forms is laggy - there’s a delay in typing and it gets worse the further into the form you go. I reached out to support but they said everything looked fine and I shouldn’t be having any issues. We’ve tried multiple computers, browsers and networks. Any ideas?

I am still having this issue. Looking at the Browser Console shows repeated display of this message.

Seems to me like a loop going thru your forms which cause the Interaction delay. 

I would suggest have your developer check this loop and come up with a solution.

In addition, aside from the initial loop when your form loads, this message also appears every keypress which causes additional delay. 

​@Darwin - can you take a short video of the issue? is this a native form at Typeform or embedded on a site (where they may be conflicts with pop-ups, antivirus, etc)?

Hey ​@Darwin thanks for sharing the link, I’ve spoken with our technical support team about this, who do sometimes see a lag in very large forms, which I don’t think yours is. Would you mind submitting a ticket to them via https://help.typeform.com/hc/en-us/requests/new so they can investigate the issue? 🙏

I have filed and submitted the request (see link below); hope they could issue a fix soon as we need to demo this to a client in a few days.
