Hello,

I’m trying to add a question about all cities in Italy, with multiple choice answer: I’m using this list https://copypastelist.com/geography/list-of-italian-municipalities/ and while I charge this 8k choices the page crashes

I tried with some decades of answers and it was ok

do you have any idea?

Thank you

Lucia

Hi @Lucia_caretti_specchio. Welcome to the Typeform Community! :hugging:

Does it need to be a multiple choice? If the respondent just needs to select one option, you can use the Dropdown question type, which works better for long lists :)

Let us know how it goes!

I tried with the dropdown too, but same problem

do you know why?

@Lucia_caretti_specchio @Mariana - it could be the amount of data that has to be loaded “into memory” for that question/form??

Hi @Lucia_caretti_specchio Sometimes this error can be caused if the length of your form is longer, too. For example, if you have 50 questions and want to add a dropdown to 8k responses, it may crash. Does your form happen to be a bit lengthier? If not, would you mind sending a video of what happens when you try to edit the form? This will help me see what the issue is!

According to https://copypastelist.co/geography/list-of-italian-municipalities/, there are exactly 7904 cities in Italy. The best way is to connect multiple forms with each other to break it down as shown here: https://www.typeform.com/help/a/pass-information-from-one-typeform-to-another-360056599471
