Multiple Choice "other" option

Hi,

My survey has multiple choice - with an "other" option.

The reports show all the multiple choice responses, but the "other" options appear as a dash -

I read in another support chat that the "check mark" must be clicked by the respondent.

My question is: How do I disable the check mark in the "other" field option (so I can read responses)?

Thank you!

@Eddy - only other option i can think of is to just make “other” a label - and not an “other field” that you toggle on.. if the user choose that option then use logic rules to send them a question to fill in the short text answer about their ‘other’ and then you can have the submit button work..

if you choose to use the Other write-in field on the Multiple Choice question, you have NO ability to remove the checkmark ..

@Eddy - the user has to type the information in AND press the checkmark to make sure that their entry is captured .. if they don’t press the checkmark (think of it as a ‘mini-submit’ button but for that field only) then nothing will be recorded

Thank  you for your immediate response but we want it more easier for our customers so they we can still capture their answers even they don’t click on that check mark.

So.. your saying there’s no option for me to disable that check mark?

Is there any possible way we can disable that check mark? Basically, we only want them to write the answer then click on submit button.

@all I have a multiple choice question with multiple answers. The last answer should be "Other". For this I would like to have a free line to give the answer even more space. Is this possible? I have not found the option.
