"Replace" function not showing up in logic options?

Hello. I am trying to play with the Replace function mentioned in this help article, but it is not showing up as an option when I’m editing the logic on my typeform. I have both Score and variables, plus hidden fields, enabled. Do I need to edit some settings on my Typeform, or is something else going on?

@Chel - replace works with text variables, not numeric

if you can show some screen shots that would be a great help for us to troublshoot.
