I am trying to create a question with responses that will have the following characteristics’:

  • First four characters of response will be required text, e.g., “ABCD”
  • next three characters will need to be numeric, e.g., “123”

Can this formatted valid response acceptance be included in a typeform question?

@Greg Coyle - welcome to the community

unfortunately there is not ‘data mask’ function within Typeform that will allow for this sort of validation (the way we would set it up in a more traditional database entry solution)

at the moment you would have to prepopulate your logic rules with the list of acceptable responses for an exact match…
