Scoring results from an opinion scale quiz with the lowest score winning

Hello everyone!

I want to create a quiz consisting of 12 questions, belonging to a total of 3 categories (4 questions per category). Each question is an opinion scale, where you are asked to rate a statement from 1 to 5, with 5 being strongly agree, and 1 strongly disagree. After you have answered all questions, you will be shown the ending for the category that you have scored the lowest in (so disagreed the most with).

Let’s say in category 2, you mostly disagree. You will then receive the ending which contains tips and tricks to improve in category 2. The endings all redirect to a custom URL, for which I have prepared custom landing pages according to the category.

How can I achieve such a quiz?

I am having trouble to create rules and logics that can achieve this, especially because I cannot compare variables, and set the lowest score to be the winning score. Anyone has experience with this kind of quiz?

Thank you!!

@kaedama - if you are tabulating ‘scores’ into the three separate subtotals, one for each of the three categories, your logic rules will look something like this

  • if v_sub1 = 4 AND v_sub2 greater than 4 AND v_sub3 greater than 4 then go to page associated with that category (v_sub1 is associated with with category 1, in this thought stream)
    • 4 is the lowest score that you can get if you have 4 questions per category
  • repeat the analysis for the other subtotals
    • if v_sub2 = 4 AND v_sub1 greater than 4 AND v_sub3 greater than 4 then go to page for category 2
    • if v_sub3 = 4 AND v_sub1 greater than 4 AND v_sub2 greater than 4 then go to page for category 3

those three statements will look at minimal score and if there is no tied score and someone has only scored 4 points in the category, it will go to unique page

you would need to repeat this for scores 5 + and going upwards in the scores to 16.

i would suggest that you look at the fact that you might have a tiebreaker where at least 2 category variables have the same low score - that will need a 4th ending page or a tiebreaker question added
