The question text is set to opacity 0.7, so it’s not very legible. How can I change this to opacity 1?

See screenshot example:

Hi @spainexpat. Happy Friday :)

While the text opacity is an area you would not be able to edit, you could edit your image to make it more legible. For example, if you change the image brightness, the text would look better. Hope this works for you!

We always appreciate suggestions and feedback, so if you have any more, send it out way :hugging:

Thanks Mariana. That’s really a shame. Maybe someone from your UX department could take a closer look into this because it’s really not very legible, even with a photo designed to accommodate the white text. I don’t understand why the opacity 0.7 is necessary or of benefit. It looks worse actually, and darkening the background image further looks shoddy.

Hi @spainexpat. Thanks for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention. I'll make sure the product team is aware of that.

You might want to share your thoughts in this thread too, for some extra visibility:

Can the Typeform team follow up on this? Is the text color for question and answer still at a 0.7 opacity? It certainly looks that way to me. And honestly, it is NOT working. Many of my clients and team members complained about the visibility of the text against dark background. Please consider changing it or allow a feature for us to adjust opacity on user’s end. THANK YOU!

Hey @JY1 you could try changing the text color in themes to see if that helps, but you’re right it’s still not possible to edit opacity. I’ve added your feedback to the feature request board and we’ll keep you posted on any updates 🙏
