How can I edit the open and close of my video so that viewers don’t see me reaching for the start and stop record button?

Hey @Tom Sheridan welcome to the community, great question!

You can trim your video within VideoAsk to cut any messy bits at the start/finish. We have a Help Center guide here on how to use the trimming feature.

Let us know if you have more questions 😊

Hi @Tom Sheridan I hope you’re doing well! Were you able to trim up your video? 😦

Hi Liz,

No. When I trimmed the end of the video it affected the front end. It cut off the first sentence.

It also won’t let me change the thumbnail on my video. I wanted to post the video on LinkedIn, was super excited until it wouldn’t change.

Disappointed, but hope you can help.

Hi @Tom Sheridan you should be able to edit the thumbnail under the videoask settings (here’s a guide on how to edit) if you haven’t already, I think it could be worth reaching out to the support team about this via support@videoask.com, it sounds like there could be some issues with the trim functionality so I would recommend sending a screen recording to the team if you can.
