Hi,

I’m creating a videoask flow for parents who have just arrived at the neonatal intensive care unit with their preterm infant - the goal of the flow is to help them understand what they can do in the coming days and how to be the best parents for their critically ill child. I have a script for a strcutured conversation with a few segments - a video at the beginning/end of each, and a few questions. Is there a way to integrate a dynamic video response based on what the parent answers? (for example, I would ask: “can you share with me how you what you might find challening?” and then the bot would reflect/affirm that experience).

Thank you!

Hi @Alon what a great use of a VideoAsk to serve such an important need!

At this stage there is no way to dynamically generate new video responses via a bot based on what the patient answers. Essentially all video segments must be pre-recorded in your workflow beforehand. The most intuitive way for it to relate to this topic would be to prepare as many different video segments that you think could anticipate that relate to the topic, then select the relative keyword/s that relate to their spoken word. This way when the person indicates a response it can then be intuitively sent to that relevant video segment. You can also set a default fallback in case no keyword/s were picked up.

Perhaps a good option could be to use the first initial questions with multi choice selections to refine down what their main need is. You could then set up the AI Chatbot answer type with topics that relate to that refined category.

I recently left a comment on a post that may be of interest, as having video segments that are dynamically generated with an AI twin / personal avatar is something that I am exploring. But it does at present have limitations for its use (and I do not have a proof of concept just yet).
