I recently received responses back from a respondent and for some reason one response came through as an mp3 audio file instead of a mp4 video. All the questions have video as the only option for responding. I double checked the question at issue and it was set on only video response allowed. Do you know how it could have recorded an audio response instead? And is there any way for me to salvage the video from that question?

This likely happened due to an uploading or processing issue with the respondent’s video. For example, this may happen if the respondent’s internet connection is spotty or becomes disrupted during the uploading process.
Unfortunately, the video content won’t be recoverable. If needed and possible, it’s best to get in touch with the respondent and ask them to re-record that particular step.
