Updates, new messages and more alerts

Hey Rocio, you have made yourself very clear, I had the same issue and I flagged it with the team who built the platform, I think the technical term would be in-web notifications, as opposed to just emails. I’ve noticed that we get a notification when we receive private messages but not when someone mentions or quotes you.

in line with “new messages” concept in here - I got a DM from  ‘new member’ telling me they needed money to build a little house and asking for help:

how does one delete private messages like that in the forum software ??

Hi Des. That's not the kind of message you should be receiving here. I'd imagine there's an option to flag a DM so we can take proper action. Can you please send me a DM with the details so I can look into it? Thanks from meeting me know.
