Exclude Typeform as 'direct source' in Hubspot attribution

Badge

We currently use an embedded form on our website. However, we don't want to see Typeform as a source in Hubspot. For example, a person clicks on a Facebook ad and fills in the form. Hubspot then attributes it to Typeform as ‘direct’, rather than Facebook. According to Hubspot, Typeform doesn't seem to include the cookie for the contact which is required in order to attribute (page views) properly.

In order to fix it, we should include the cookie and page view when sending submissions to HubSpot. Is that possible to do with Typeform?

Hi @WincAcademy Happy Wednesday! Have you taken a look at our article here on source tracking with embedded forms connected to Hubspot? If not, this should answer your questions!

Hi @Liz, thanks for your reaction.

I previously mentioned that the form is embedded, but after double-checking it’s not the case. It’s currently hosted on the typeform domain.

Is there a way to include the cookie via the Typeform domain, or is it better to embed it directly on the site to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @WincAcademy It isn’t possible to add any code to the Typeform, so it may be best then to embed the form directly onto your website.
