Hubspot connection to coontacts and deals

Is there any documentation detailing the options available for updating Hubspot contacts and deals?

If so, where can I find it?

I’ve been working with the connection for some time and in general the behavior seems a little counter-intuitive.  Rather than running lots of tests to verify every possible combination of every form, I’d love to understand the structural relationships here.

There’s scheduled maintenance of the Hubspot app tomorrow so maybe this will address any oddities I’ve noticed, but either way I would love to RTFM :)
