Integrate typeform with Smartlook

Hey Guys,

I am using the Typeform web SDK in my react project. we use smartlook for session recordings and analysing our onboarding. We believe that the information we gather in the Typeform part of the journey and should be captured in the session. However, the Typeform part of the onboarding journey is greyed out. According to the documentation here, it isn’t possible as Typeform web sdk is embedded inside an iframe (cross-origin)
However, this community post suggests that it’s possible. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Yes, you can use smartlook for recording your typeform sessions.
There are few ways
1. Add google tag manager to your typeform - and in your tag manager enable smartlook recording, it will start recording all your forms and you will be able to view them.
2. Embed typeform to your webpage - and ensure that webpage has google tag manager with smartlook enabled. 

That’s it.

(Though if you have typeform payment form for stripe - it doesn’t allow to have stripe + tag manager)
