Hey @Alous it looks like it could be related to the anchor element

widgetTarget: '.anchor_it'

it seems like as you scroll it re-starts the video so wondering if you remove that whether it keeps autoplaying?

Hi @Grace , this is needed to hide the widget on mobile devices following a videoask guide/article. So I could hide it with css. If there is another way around it please let me know. Would be awesome to just pass a parameter in config something like hideOnMobile: true

Hi @Alous totally understand, let me see if there’s an alternative way to hide on mobile view or if there’s some way to stop the anchor from restarting the video 🙏

@Grace hi, it's a custom theme, we don't use any builders.

I tested the URL with the widget embed code on a Squarespace built website and the video doesn’t restart on any interaction with the website. It might be something in the website code that is causing the video in the widget to restart with any interaction. But let us ask around the team a bit and we’ll get back to you. 😊
