On the business plan, can I require a quiz-taker make a donation via Stripe before they are able to access the quiz?

Hi @schp This is an interesting request. While we don’t exactly have a solution for this, one workaround you could do would be to:

  1. Create a form with just the payment question
  2. Next, have that redirect to the next form with the questions. The respondent will only be able to complete the form if they make the payment.

Hopefully this helps, but let me know if you have any other questions!

Thank you so much, Liz! I have a couple of follow-up questions:

  • Would it be possible to embed both the payment form and the redirect form within the same existing website?

  • I'm concerned about the potential for users to copy the URL of the redirect form and share it with others who haven't donated, allowing them to bypass the donation requirement. Is there any way to prevent this or work around it?

Hi there!

I’m working on a fundraising initiative where I’d like to require a donation before users can access a quiz. I was advised that the best way to do this would be to have one form for the donation, which then redirects users to a second form for the quiz.

However, my concern is that users might share the quiz form’s URL, allowing others to bypass the donation requirement. Do you have any suggestions for preventing this and ensuring only donors can access the quiz?

I’d really appreciate any insights you can share. Thanks so much!

Hi @schp Not a problem! To answer your questions,

  • I believe if you embed the form as an iFrame, it should redirect within that iFrame on the website, which would allow you to do so in the same webpage.
  • This is definitely possible, and sadly, I don’t have a workaround offhand for this. The one thing I could think of would be to password lock the webpage the form is embedded on and only allow people who have the password to enter it, but this would be quite a bit of work to setup, especially depending on your website builder.

Hopefully this helps a little, but let me know if you think of any other questions!
