Hi @JBooker Welcome to the community! If you already started the form before but didn’t submit it, the answers will be kept safely in the browser's local storage for 15 days. When you open the typeform again, you'll be taken to the start of the form, but you’ll see your existing answers from your last visit.
I hope this helps!
Hi Liz
I had the same question as JBooker, and this answers it - thanks so much. But my next question is: Is there any way to stop Typeform from doing this? We have created a quiz where people may want to explore where it takes them if they answer a question one way, and then the other way, so they may want to move backwards & forwards within the quiz during a single session, without submitting it (what we have created is an interactive educational tool - it isn’t really a quiz). And it feels a bit confusing to come back to a page & find that the answer to the question is already checked. Is there any way I can turn this function off?
With many TIA for your expertise,
janet
Hi @Janet Douglas Sadly, no, but I wish we had this feature! I’ll share your request with the product team!
Thanks so much for getting back to me, Liz - but I think that just yesterday my clever colleague figured this out. We turned off ‘Progress bar’ in Settings & this seems to have fixed the problem. I need to check it on different platforms, etc., but a quick test drive on my iPhone suggests that it no longer remembers your answers.
Anyway, thanks so much for your input,
Janet
Oh, well glad it was an easy fix, @Janet Douglas ! Thanks for letting us know what solved the issue for you!
