Respondents struggling with date field scolling

We are getting negative feedback from patients filling in a typeform questionnaire that has a date of birth field.  To select the correct date requires scrolling back by month to get the correct year.  Cannot scroll just in the year field.

Hi @Active Rehab It sounds like this might be a restriction based on the way an Android presents the date field. While we don’t have a way to change the way an operating system presents data (like date fields), we can share this feedback with our product team. If you have any photos/videos of the issue, that would be helpful, too.

Hey @Active Rehab. Welcome to the Typeform Community and thanks for raising this with us!

Do you think they could type the numbers instead of scrolling back? This might be a temporary solution while we still don't have the option to scroll the year field directly.

This appears to be an issue when completing a questionnaire on an Android device.  For older people in particular this is very frustrating.  Do you have work happening in this area to fix this issue.

Android's market share :72.84%

Maybe start working on a workaround instead of complaining about the specifications. I didn't experience such problems elsewhere (or at least not as bad).
