Prevent retrieval of old responses in Salesforce

Forum|alt.badge.img

Is there a way to prevent the Typeform integration from retrieving the same response more than once? We only want to retrieve responses from our Typeforms once. Once they’ve been retrieved, it’s not necessary (or helpful) to retrieve the same response over and over again. Currently, the Salesforce integration is retrieving the old responses it’s already retrieved and creating hundreds of new records, regardless of our mapping key settings. Some of these responses are 2+ years old and have never been updated since they were originally submitted.

All we want to happen is:

  1. NEW Typeform response submitted
  2. Salesforce retrieves NEW response
  3. New record created.
  4. Done.

I can’t determine why we can’t simply set up the integration for this scenario.

Hi @brian at subtext I asked our tech support team about this, and they mentioned looking at the version of the Typeform integration you have in Salesforce. If you’re not on v1.21, you’ll want to update to the new version.

In order for you to run the updated release, you just have to do the following:

Hi @brian at subtext Thanks for stopping by. Do you have the option to check for existing records setup?

Hey @Liz - I do, but it doesn’t seem to work. I’ve tried different variations (e.g. 1 key, multiple keys, and all keys). How should this be set up?
