Intercom Integration - Mapping Conversation ID to Hidden Field

We would like to use the Typeform Intercom integration to replace Intercom’s emoji rating that is automatically sent when a conversation is closed.  The only problem is, there doesn’t seem to be a way to map the Intercom conversation ID to a Typeform hidden field.  It seems only Intercom user attributes can be mapped.

We use the Typeform Salesforce integration to import responses into Salesforce.  For phone/email case surveys, we inject the Salesforce Case Id as a hidden field so that Salesforce can relate the created Survey Result record to the associated Case record.  We need to be able to do this as well with chat cases.  Ideally, we’d be able to inject the Intercom conversation ID into the Typeform response, and then we’d have Salesforce map the Survey Result to the related case via that conversation ID.

Is there a way to do this currently?  If not, is there a way we could go about submitting a feature request?  Thanks 😊

Hi @reese Happy Friday! I hope you’re having a great week so far. I don’t believe it’s possible to map the conversation ID since it is created after the conversation is over. I can share this feedback with the product team.

Hey Liz!  Thanks for the response.  Conversation IDs are definitely created along with the conversation, as we can see them instantly in the Intercom URL and in the right-hand sidebar at any time.  We would really appreciate it if you could share this feature request with the product team, as it is a blocker for us using the integration right now 😓
