Increasing VideoAsk form completions

Hi @David Kufeld I hope you don’t mind me jumping in here and taking a look / sharing some feedback. 

It is not unusual to have some anonymous entries that bail out. 

Some thoughts that come to mind. 

• The initial video welcome could benefit from having an additional short explanation to go alongside your existing message of who you are and the questions “How can we help you today”. Great that you welcome people and introduce yourself, but I feel just giving a little bit more context (as concise as possible) of what your service provides / what you are all about could benefit a user on their first interaction with you. 
• I would suggest delaying the interactions for the buttons until a bit later on. Just as the current video is 8 sec, it can can seem a little bit like the call to action could be coming on a bit strong.
• It may also pay to consider who has landed on the website (based on who you have targeted to that point), as this may be a reason why you could also get a lower conversion rate. 
• Depending on how many extra steps you have in the VideoAsk, potentially consider moving the contact form to later in the process as a test to see if this increases uptake and completion rates for each of the steps. My thinking here is that you may be best to work on building a little more rapport before asking for contact information - Keep all segments short and sweet, but I feel initially from what I have see, there could be some further opportunity to expand things and incorporate with some context of what your service provides (assume they know nothing before landing on this VideoAsk) and your role is to help educate them in the process.

You might also be interested in checking out our videoask of the month article from last year, which features student loans lawyer, Stanley Tate. He sees a lot of success using VideoAsk in a similar way on his website, so maybe it’ll give you some ideas as you start to tweak yours.
