How to extract multiple choice answers in a ratings questions

Hallo everyone!

I am creating a product survey/rating form.

I have 6 different drinks that respondents can choose from. This is done using a multiple choice question with 6 answer options.

So far so good.

In the next question, I want them to rate the drinks they have selected in the previous page. That means, all the drinks they selected, need to appear in the answer options with the rating option next to it. The drinks not selected do not appear.

That’s my problem.

I do not find the option to extract the answers from the multiple choice and display them in the rating question. All in one page.

What do you suggest I do? I definitely do not want to have individual pages for each drink, as it becomes very clumsy.

@lazymonk - that, unfortunately, is not possible in the native typeform functionality. it is something that has be raised to the Product team but has yet to make it onto the product.

Thanks!

That’s quite unfortunate, considering how long they have been on the market!

you might be able to accomplish this using the APIs - having the answers captured ‘on submit’ from a shortened typeform, then using the APIs to ‘create’ the form on the fly for the next question, with the responses from the first question used as the prompts/labels for the next typeform.. not perfect but potentially possible.

That’s an interesting approach, but time won’t permit that. Besides, if I were to take that much effort, I would then programm my own form.

Thanks, anyway!
