Custom Variables showing up in notifications and Google Sheets???

Hi @coop3254 Welcome to the community! If you have selected the option to include all responses in your notifications, the custom variables will be included in this. To remove this option, you’ll need to manually add each question you’d like to appear in the responses instead of selecting all.

Hi @Liz - can you point me to where I can adjust that option? I have custom variables that aren’t showing in my google sheets and I’d like them to!

Hi @Alaub The custom variables should automatically send to Google Sheets (as it’s not possible with the native integration to adjust what sends there). Do you have the form published by chance? If not, you’ll want to be sure to publish the changes!

Hi @Liz speaking of custom variables, do you know if it is possible to export custom variables to Active Campaign via the integration?

@Liz thanks! yes the issue is resolved. Basically, it is not possible to get the variables from Typeform to Active Campaign.

So now the flow will be Typeform → Google Sheets → Active Campaign

Hi @TFJunkie When you choose the option to “add all” questions in the notifications, seeing the variables in the notifications is expected behavior. To avoid this, you will need to add each question individually. 

I’ve read that response in another thread. I don't understand the answer and I don't remember choosing to add all questions. What do you mean, ‘add each question individually’?

Hi @TFJunkie If you choose the option to add all the answers, it will include both the answers to all questions and the data from the variables. 

If you want to only include some questions, you can click the + button shown below to add individual questions.
