Request to Remove Geographic Restrictions on My Account

Hi Typeform Support Team,

I am reaching out to request the removal of geographic restrictions from all forms associated with my account.

We are currently collecting responses from employees and candidates located in multiple countries, including Kazakhstan. However, it appears that access to our forms is being blocked for users in Kazakhstan and potentially other regions.

Could you please:
1. Remove any geographic restrictions from all forms on my account
2. Ensure our forms are accessible from all regions worldwide

Our respondents are located across different countries, so it is essential that the forms are accessible globally without any regional limitations.

Please let me know if you need any additional information from my side.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards

Hey @HR-Ops Higgsfield Inc.

Our team has investigated this and can confirm that no Kazakhstan IPs are being blocked or blacklisted on our side.

However, we’ve received multiple reports in the past that access to form.typeform.com is being blocked at the level of local internet providers and/or government agencies in Kazakhstan (and potentially other countries).

In many cases, respondents can access the same forms if they connect via a VPN or a different network (for example, mobile data instead of their usual Wi‑Fi), which indicates a local network or country‑level restriction rather than an issue with Typeform’s infrastructure.

Our Security and Legal teams have already contacted the relevant authorities and ISPs several times, but so far we haven’t been able to get the block removed, and we unfortunately can’t promise if or when this will be resolved. Because this is happening outside our network, we’re also not able to technically bypass it from our side.

In the meantime, the only reliable workarounds we can recommend are accessing the form via VPN or a different connection, or serving the form from a custom subdomain instead of form.typeform.com. You can change the subdomain of your typeform account by following these steps: How to customize your form URL

Apologies for the inconvenience, hopefully these workarounds can help as an interim measure at least. Please let us know if you have any questions about it.

Thanks,

James
