Question

Will changing block references of existing live forms affect results?

Hi!

I have a question regarding block references. We have a series of forms currently embedded and live on our LMS collecting results from our students.

However, these forms were created with automatically generated block references, which complicates things in the analytics side of things when using the API. We are now looking into updating these block references and use them as labels to easily identify fields during the analysis.

Is this something that would cause broken links or alter results? Should we create a new template with our personalized block references and start anew?

Thank you

Hi @gestion_docente Happy Fri-yay! This is a great question. I don’t believe it changes the results, but let me double check with our technical team!

Hi again, @gestion_docente just confirmed that this won’t change the results, so you can edit the block references on your current form. 😀
