Andy Mowat, the founder of Gated, experienced the frustration of being bombarded by unwanted emails (haven't we all?) Like many great founders, he turned exasperation into opportunity and created Gated—a tool to help people take control of their digital attention.

Customers fill out a straightforward typeform that asks them to describe how Gated is helping them. We love how carefully the Gated team worded the form to get powerful, usable responses. It's also incredibly enjoyable and easy to fill in. Testimonial collection forms are hard to get right (believe me, I've seen/made a ton of crappy ones :P) but this one is super simple to fill out.

One of the things we love about the form is how well Andy and crew have branded it. By using their own brand colors and adding their logo they've given it a familiar and welcoming feel for the customers who are filling it in.

We also love how well this form manages the respondent's expectations. On the Email question, for example, the next steps in the process are made really clear – i.e. the team will now create a testimonial page and email it to you. They even included an example by adding an image of the landing page for extra clarity).
