Emailing respondents

Hi,

I’m using Typeform and asking people to vote for something.

I’ve asked for their email address and plan to email them afterwards with some marketing materials. My question is: can I do this? I’ve added a page before my survey (quite basic) - saying smt like “we intend to use your email… to send emails… by continuing with the survey, you agree…”.
Just want to confirm that if the respondent proceeds, it means they agree and I have ownership of the personal info so legally, I can send the emails?

@Genz - welcome to the community. Those are questions you need to refer to your legal/compliance folks. Depending on where you are located, where your survey-takers are located, etc. you will be subject to a number of regulations about privacy. You need to review those and seek independent advice.

Once you have satisfied yourself about the requirements, Typeform is a wonderful tool to use to get opinions (votes) etc.

hope that helps to answer your question.
