European VAT Checked in TypeForm

Hello,

I’ve a field VAT field in a Typeform (I’m in Europe).
I would like to check that the input VAT is correct .(https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/technicalInformation.html)

There are several API to do on the market like https://vatlayer.com for instance.
If I understood well there is no way, in Typeform to call a third-party API.
I’ve seen that it could work using Blender.IO to connect Typeform and VIES VAT Validation (https://admin.blendr.io/integrations/Typeform/VIES+VAT+validation+EU)

Well, basically I would like to know if someone ever tried to do this and found a solution ;-)

Hi @Renauld welcome to the community! We don’t have a way to verify VAT within the form itself, but you could use a service such as the Blender workflow you noted to verify the VAT after the form has been submitted. We’re working on adding in-form verifications for certain items like email address, but it will still be a bit of time until we introduce those.
