Export entire form

We are using our form as a Creative Brief or intake form.  So we need a view of the individual forms in their entirety, not the individual answers to the questions and aggregation of those answers in a spreadsheet.

Is there a way for each new submission to create a Google doc or anything like that where it would have the Q’s and A’s in it or even just the A’s to all of the questions?

Having multiple submissions in one doc or spreadsheet is really cumbersome for us to sort through.  How would you recommend doing this or setting it up?

Thanks so much for your help!

@sfnewbee - you can do this using the following bits - there are a bunch of posts in the Community and a recent webinar on how to do this:

  • typeform
  • Connect your form to google sheets -  your data will be pushed on submission to the spreadsheet
  • create an output template in google slides or docs
  • use an add on for Google Sheets called Document Studio - it will take the incoming record from the sheet, push it into the merge template, create a pdf and email it to the client.

voila, one complete report for each client.

Hi @sfnewbee I’m sure there’s definitely a workaround we can think of for this, especially if you’re using Zapier or Make. If you don’t care about how the output looks, you could just set up one of these zaps to add the questions and/or answers to the form.

If you want something fancier looking, you might want to take a look at the option below:

Hey @Liz

Thanks for the response.  I don’t care what it looks like I just want it to be lumped into a single questionnaire, verses it being grouped as answers to a specific question.  Does that make sense?  Do you know if there's a way to pull and export just One survey in it’s entirety at a time?
