We use TypeForm for lead generation and it’s a problem, that cookie consent is:
1. Hidden in the left corner, so users do not notice it
2. Is not obligatory
Because if users do not accept cookies, then it is not possible to optimize ads on social media for conversions in TypeForm. This deteriorates the effectiveness of media spend, which is hard to accept.
Therefor I suggest two things:
1. Make the cookie consent form clearly visible
2. Make accepting it the default
Or allow options to customize the cookie consent form - how it is shown and what it entails.
I work with marketing for memberbased organisations around the Nordics. A lot of them use gamification to generate leads and interest, but the above problem is a real obstacle in regards to using typeform with more of our clients.
