Filtering Summary

​@JessicaHaik - the capability exists on the Results tab

to set the date filter

and when you have the filter on, and choose to download the results, you can opt to have all or the filtered results downloaded. 

i recommend that folks connect their typeforms to a Google Sheet to capture the submissions and take advantage of more (currently) analysis capability outside of Typeform..

This should filter the results table.
And then you should be able to download only the filtered answers as shown on ​@john.desborough’s response.

Thank you both -- I know you can filter results and export but I’m specifically talking about seeing the summary page filtered by date only. I’ve tried to connect google analytics with no luck seeing results like the summary page on Typeform.

I wish there were an easier way to submit requests for product updates to Typeform directly! 

Hey ​@JessicaHaik thanks for clarifying that you want to filter by date only in the Summary page. I’ve had a look on our internal feature request board, and it looks like some updates are on the horizon 🙏 I’ve flagged your post with the Product team so they can check it out. 

I totally agree it would be great to have an upvoting system, in the meantime do continue to tell us here in the Community, we share everything that gets posted with our Product team and add it to the feature request board, so upvoting really helps!

​@JessicaHaik thank you so much for this feedback! I’m on the product team and happy to report that we’re working on a new summary page which includes not only filtering by submission date but also by question answers. 

We plan to release this in the upcoming weeks!

​@Sun.Park Yes, it’s better, but you cannot generate a report based off of the time filter.. If you click generate, it just pulls the all time data.

​@JessicaHaik, I also wanted to let you know that we’re working on filtering a report too and being able to share that report externally :) That should be ready by early 2026! 

I agree — adding a filter by submission date directly in the results summary would save a lot of time. Exporting and manually sorting is tedious, especially for large datasets. This feature would make reviewing trends and recent activity much faster and more efficient.
