Is there a way to prevent nonsense answers in form fields?

Hi,

I know Typeform isn’t compatible with ReCAPTCHA, and I’m not necessarily worried about bots filling out the form a bunch of times, but more about people who fill in form fields with their name as a string of nonsense letters and characters and an email address that is just ‘a@gmail.com’.

I contacted chat support and they said to add rules to each question, but not only would that be time consuming, it would not necessarily cover all the bases I’d need to cover to prevent this?

Any thoughts about how to prevent forms from getting bad responses?

Thank you!

Hi @rbgaylen Happy Wednesday! Our support team is right on this - you would need to provide rules to prevent answers. If it’s certain questions you’re noticing this happen to often, like the email question, you set rules so it has to contain certain elements, such as specific email domains.
