Problem with Hidden Fields as an identification tool

I’m currently sending forms to specific people and it’s important that their responses can be traced back to each user.

To accomplish it, I’ve made a “name” hidden field and send custom links to each person with their names already set in this hidden field.

But I’ve received on response where this hidden field is blank, despite all links being sent with it already set in the url.

Anyone have any idea wgat might be the problem?

Got it - thanks! One thing to note, @Jeta , is that if the respondent cleared the hidden fields from the URL, the data wouldn’t show there. If this happens with more than one respondent, let us know, and we can look further into it, but it’s entirely possible that they edited the URL to remove the information. :\

Do you happen to have this issue with other respondents as well?

Hi @Jeta Thanks for stopping by the community! How are you sending the links and populating the information? For example, are you adding the information to the URL manually? Or do you have a CRM system populating it for you?

Thnaks for the answer, Liz.
Since I’m sending it only to 23 respondents, I’m doing it manually
