Question

Sending Typeform responses as a PDF attachment

We would like the responses submitted emailed to our business as an email PDF attachment so we can review in detail (and not require the need to login to Typeform for every response).

Are there any ways to enable this function in the workflow?

Hi @andrewinperth welcome to the community 😊

Theres a few things you could do here to keep track of responses coming in without needing to login to your account every time.

You can set up a follow up email to send every time you get a new response. Here’s our guide on setting this up.

You could connect your form to something like Google Sheets, this will then send all of your responses to a Sheet which you can check and analyse over time. Here’s how to set up the integration.

If you use Zapier, we also have a workflow where you can use Digest by Zapier to send yourself regular reports with the latest responses. Here’s the guide with more information.

This article talks about the various options for exporting responses, in case that’s also useful for you.

Hopefully one of these options would suit your workflow, but let us know if you have more questions!

@andrewinperth @Grace - to extend what Grace said, if you connect your form to Google Sheets, you could use a tool like Document Studio to handle the integration between Google sheets and a Google doc/slide output template to generate your pdf and mail it. there are a number of posts on how to do that here in the community (and Document Studio is cheaper than Zapier for this if you are not already a Zapier -or similar- user)
