Unable to generate a report


Hi! I am unable to generate a report. I get an error that says “This report is private.” I’m the creator of the survey so why would I not be able to generate a report from my own survey?

Hi @tlfras77 If your form is in private mode or your subscription has been downgraded, you won’t be able to access the report. You can read a bit more about this here

Thank you @Liz! My next question is if I’m the generator/creator of the survey and if the survey is private shouldn’t it be private to me only? How do I make any changes to the privacy? Thank you for the the helpful article, but I do not see what is depicted in Step 3. A new page does appear, but it’s the error page.

Are you the admin or owner of the Typeform account? that might be the issue if you are not

@john.desborough I’m not the owner, but I am an admin.

Hi @tlfras77 If the account/workspace is shared with another person, the form will appear to anyone in that workspace. 

If you’d like the form to be private, you’ll want to be sure it’s in your own workspace that no one else has access to.
