Using the Typeform API to collect responses in Excel

Hi,

 

Has anyone been able to use the Typeform response API to connect to Excel 365, so that responses are added to the Excel worksheet?

Due to organisational settings i am blocked from using the direct connection by our IS&T settings but the API should work, but am struggling to get it to connect so on the lookout for any advice

Hi @JonMoon74 This is an interesting question. I don’t know of any users offhand who have done this, but I also wonder - could you use Zapier + Webhooks to send the data to Excel? I think that might make it easier to setup!

Hi @Liz 

Would love to be able to explore Zapier connections but that runs into the same IS&T issue as the native Typeform connection. Will keep working on the API as it must be do-able.

@mathio you don’t happen to know about connecting to Excel using the API?

I dont have any experience with Excel API, sorry.

In case you are not blocked from using Google Docs you could connect your typeform to Google Docs and collect responses there 🤔
