Hello everyone,

I'm looking to improve my conversions and could use some guidance, as I’m new to this process and unsure of what to expect.

I’d appreciate any feedback on my current 20% conversion rate. Is this typical, or is it considered low?

Also, I’m open to any suggestions on how to increase my conversion rate.

Additionally, could someone clarify if “Starts” refers to users who have filled out at least one field in my form? Is there a way to track where users drop off in the process?

Thank you!

Hi @TerryTerrific ,
You can track where users drop-off via the insights sections in Typeform
After that I would suggest that you personalize your form by reordering questions based on respondent engagement...Also try adding design elements that align with your brand to keep users engaged

Thank you! I hadn’t noticed the drop off stats. Very helpful but also alarming. 60% of the users are dropping right on the first field. I see there are elements I can add to that first panel. Has anyone been able to boost form completion by adding a video to encourage them to complete?

Actually, my drop off rate on the first question is 95% :(   Does anyone know what the bechmarks are?

Is it possible you can share a link to your typeform @TerryTerrific?

One consideration can be when you are asking for contact information. If it is at the start, it may be that they haven’t had a chance to be warmed up by previous questions - so may be best to come in a little later. Other thoughts for improvement may be to have a compelling welcome screen that really helps give them a reason to pull them in and to complete your Typeform.

There are other little tweaks that can be done with settings, design and flow that can all help.

Video could definitely be a good consideration.

Happy to review your Typeform and offer up any suggestions if you are open to this.

Hey @TerryTerrific as Ash suggested, if you’re able to share the form that would be great and then I’m sure folks here will have some good ideas.

We ran a workshop last year that might be worth watching back for some ideas too:
