Did you find a solution?

Same problem here!

We have also de same problem @Liz we can not edit this. When will you solve it? Thanks in advance.

This is rather frustrating.  I’m experiencing the same issue.  I need to be able to send the info submitted in these forms to various people.  Please can someone help resolve this ASAP!!  Thank you

Hi @gestion_docente and @MSmit I know, it definitely is! Have you two contacted our support team?

This is a problem for me as well and i have contacted support and had no response. Can anyone help please as this is a serious business risk?

thank you

Hi @BossHog Our support team let me know they did reply to your email - did you receive the response? Let us know if not!

Same here - I reached out to support

We are experiencing the same issue. Has it been fixed?

Hi @tonychang777 if you haven’t reached out to support yet, definitely do!

Same issue, reached out to support. Awaiting answer. This is a genuine business emergency. How long does it typically take to get a response?

Same issue here, I've reached out to support. But if so many people have the same issue, why isn't there a easy cure for it?

@Svendewitte - imagine if you will that some bad actor creates a free plan in Typeform, makes a very simple form (ie one page and submit) and set ups a notification/Follow-up email into which they copy the email addresses of hundreds of recipients (scraped together) and then publishes the form and submits a response.

all the recipients get flooded with an email notification from typeform …. and complain because they never responded to any typeform in the first place.

or if they hacked into someone’s paid Typeform account and did the same…

It’s not necessarily ‘an easy fix’ - at least that is my perspective on how Typeform has to address the issue.. reputational as well as technical risk…

@john.desborough Thank you for clarifying the risks. Given the potential for spam and reputational impact, I’d like to know what steps Typeform is considering to prevent this kind of misuse. Depending on the response, we may need to explore alternative integrations if this isn’t addressed. Looking forward to hearing about any planned solutions.

Do I need to look for a different integration?

Hi @Svendewitte I can assure you that the product team has been developing a solution! It’s a bit complicated for them to implement, which is why it’s taking so long. However, the upside is that this should definitely help reduce those using our notifications to spam people.

I have the same problem. When is the fix expected to roll-out?

Hi @JamiroChin Have you contacted our support team here? They’ll be able to get this fixed for you right away!

I am experiencing this same issue as well. Agreed with several others that this has serious business impact if not corrected, especially moving forward as email spammers will only likely to continue proliferating and thriving. Developers need to insulate “good” users from potential bad actors.

Same issue here, would you of kind and let me know how could i resolve it by myself and not need to reach out support team? It is a big stopper on my org.

I’ve just hit the same issue, have contacted Support team. Is a fix close?

Hi @truemeasure @ClaudioRamos and @eimearkindlingdating Definitely reach out to our support team if you haven’t already! At the moment, you will need to contact them to resolve this. 😥
