Hidden Fields to Trigger Followups

Hey friends,

I’m having trouble taking a hidden variable field and use it as a trigger to send a unique follow up email to the respondent.

For example: hidden field variable schoolname = Jefferson High

If survey is complete and school name = jefferson high then send a email follow to @emailaddress that has Jefferson High’s custom thank you message and their name in the. signature of the email.

I’m using escape charaters in the hidden field to generate a space so it’s actually schoolname=Jefferson%20High

anyone got any thoughts or experience with this?

thanks

Hi @Todd Miechiels When setting up follow-ups, you can choose the “response with conditions” and set your condition like this:

then, the follow-up will only be sent to those who have the hidden field data matching whatever you enter into the box there.
